Altmobile is a Mobile Upgrade Service that allows you to upgrade your current phone to a newer model easily and affordably. This runs on two plans – the Premium and Basic.

 On the Premium Plan, you can have your choice device on a 24 month contract, at the 12th M

onth – you may return your device, and a new device will be offered on a new contract. 

Note* this model is exclusive to Apple and Samsung Z and S Series. 

The Basic Plan offers you a device on a 12 Month credit with the option to upgrade on the 12th Month. Under this plan, the customer is not required to return the old phone to facilitate an upgrade.


How do I sign up for the Mobile Upgrade Service?

To sign up, visit our website, select a plan that fits your needs, and follow the sign-up instructions. You will receive feedback within 24 hours of submitting your application.

 

What do i need to apply? What are the requirements?

Ensure you have a good credit culture (paying back current and past loans), and your monthly income can sufficiently cover for your preferred device. Fill the application with some personal information, employment details and attach 6 Months Bank Statement. 

 

Can non-salary earners apply?

Yes, if a business owner – kindly ensure your business is registered with the CAC. You are to provide your business CAC ,CO7 and 12 months business bank statement.

 

How often can I upgrade my phone?

You can upgrade your device every 12 Months (T&C Applies)

 

What happens to my old phone when I upgrade?

When you upgrade, you will need to return your old phone to us. It will be inspected, and if it is in good condition, you can proceed with your new phone upgrade.


Is there a fee for upgrading my phone?

There are no upgrade fees, your subscription amount may vary depending on the new device you subscribed to

 

What if my phone gets damaged before I upgrade?

If your phone gets damaged, our insurance will cover 60% of the repair costs. Simply contact our customer service team to file a claim and get your phone repaired

 

What if my phone is stolen?

In the unfortunate event of theft, our insurance covers 80% of the replacement cost. Report the theft to the police and contact our customer service to file a claim and get a replacement phone.

 

How does the insurance coverage work?

Our insurance covers 60% of repair costs for damage and 80% of the replacement cost in case of theft. We work with you to ascertain the incidence, once validated we facilitate the cover applicable on the damaged or stolen device

 

What if i want to cancel my mobile upgrade service?

You can cancel your service at any time. However, outstanding payments on your current phone or plan may need to be settled. Please contact our customer service for assistance with cancellation.
